Peaceful and private studio accommodation, with an outdoor bath, 5 mins drive to the central city.
Hideaway has been created as your home away from home, a private and peaceful sanctuary where you can rest and relax whilst visiting New Plymouth. Observe the gorgeous tui’s as they feed outside your room, sit in the garden, or enjoy a soak in the bath with bubbles and gaze at the stars after a day of sightseeing. You are welcome to wander down to the pergola and embrace the peace and quiet of our garden. Only 5 minutes by car to the central city, and a short walk to the local dairy, laundromat, bakery and cafe.
The Space.
Designed to be cosy and comfortable with a quirky unique style, HideAway is warm and sunny, set in a quiet location. Wander down to the minature Kauri forest or read a book in the pergola at the bottom of our garden, we invite guests to enjoy the serenity, and abundant birdlife.
A fabulous outdoor Stonebath for two, with hot & cold running water, is right outside your door, perfect for relaxing under the stars. We supply the bubble bath and candles!
A modern kitchenette is equipped with an Airfryer oven, underbench fridge and a space to dine, or enjoy eating outside under the umbrella.
The ensuite bathroom has eco friendly toiletries supplied.
Space is allocated for your bags and for hanging clothes.
We use plant based, biodegradable cleaners, free from harsh chemicals ensuring guests enjoy a non-toxic, fresh environment.
The studio is double-glazed, fully insulated with a heat pump for year round comfort.
Outdoor bath indulgence.
Soak under the stars in our private outdoor bath, we supply the bubbles, a truly unique and relaxing experience perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
Enjoy our beautiful native Tui's feeding.
Wake to the song of the tui feeding right outside your window in our tranquil, garden setting.
Peaceful & private.
Guests have a private entrance, their own carpark, private outdoor area and bath, and access to the house gardens. The studio is attached to the house but completely private.

Our thoughtfully designed studio provides comfort with a unique charm, using eco friendly products to ensure a healthy, relaxing environment.
